Oh how I love a good themed session, especially when I can just show up to photograph it! I know from quite a few years of experience how much goes into implementing a great theme. My sister hit the ball out of the park with this one! I am fortunate that she loves photography just about as much as I do! My family traveled to Georgia in order to make this session happen, as their 1968 VW bug would not have been able to make the trip all the way to NC. It did easily make the trip to a local tree farm for a fantastic backdrop! Due to the time of day we photographed, we chose a back lit location which then provided for natural sunbursts off the bug and sun flare as well. Seeing my niece, Laurel, in the car window takes us down memory lane when we photographed her with the bug about eight years ago. The last portrait was the “icing on the cake”thanks to Lainey being such a trooper and getting up on the top of the bug!
