Siena / Raleigh, NC high school senior photographer

I met Siena many years ago when she was in fifth grade and became part of my Girl Scout troop. When her mom called about scheduling Siena’s portrait session, she shared that when they first came to my home, they saw the portraits that I had created of my own family. It was then that they knew they wanted me to create Siena’s senior portraits when she got older. It is amazing how quickly all those years flew by, and to now see the amazing young woman Siena has become! She loves writing and is in her second year as chief editor for her school newspaper. Reading is one of her favorite hobbies, including the genres of fantasy and history. She is now branching into the classics. Siena loves running, both track and cross country, and her favorite events are the 800m, mile and 5K. She is impressively headed to UNC in the fall!

Siena was a delight to photograph as she has the sweetest personality! She was very comfortable in front of the camera, which translated to the gorgeous senior portraits we achieved! For the majority of my sessions, moms normally come along and provide their support. For Siena’s session, her dad, John, was extremely helpful in using my reflector and diffuser to achieve the perfect lighting for Siena’s portraits. He also had great ideas to share for ideal portrait spots at our locations. Siena’s mom, Tara, was then the mastermind behind creating beautiful displays in their home that combined various portraits from Siena’s session.
