Marit / Pinehurst, NC high school senior photographer

I was grinning from ear to ear when I arrived to the most gorgeous music studio where Marit has been taking lessons for ten years, Casino Guitars in Southern Pines! The owner, Baxter, was extremely gracious to let us take portraits of Marit there! She had the honor of participating in the Music Exchange program in Newry, Ireland two summers ago. Marit enjoys volunteering and working with disabled children, which she has been doing for many years through the Sandhills Children Center, HUGS Camp and Special Olympics. Marit participated in cross country and tennis while in high school. Her school activities continue to impress as the Vice President of the National Honor Society and Treasurer of the Student Government. She is also member of Young Republicans, Building Tomorrow and Key Club. Last year I did a senior session for Marit’s older brother, Robert. I will also be photographing her twin brother, William. It takes my breath away to imagine what it would be like to have your three children graduate in a year’s time! Marit will be attending NC State in the fall after having a fun-filled summer working on Bald Head Island at a dockside restaurant.
