Lily and Teagan / Durham, NC dance photographer

Oh how these two precious girls make my heart happy! The first picture is a wonderful representation of their amazing friendship. To my delight, they came walking around the corner unprompted with their arms up around each others’ shoulders. Lily and my daughter, Teagan, met over four years ago at a local runner’s camp. Since then, they have spent countless hours smiling together as Girl Scout sisters, dancers and cheerleaders! This year the girls decided to concentrate on year-round cheerleading and Girl Scouts, so I couldn’t resist documenting their friendship and beautiful dance skills at Duke Gardens. We even recreated a portrait of Lily’s mom, Meg, from when she was a little ballerina! The girls ended the session by doing back walkovers in their ballet dresses!
