Alexandra is headed to North Carolina State University for the Poole School of Management – Entrepreneurial Studies, with a Minor in English. Many fantastic accomplishments during her time at Heritage High School lead to her exciting upcoming college career, including an English Internship for her senior English teacher. She was one of twelve students across the country chosen to attend The Chuck Stone Program for Diversity in Education and Media at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alexandra enjoys photography, reading and writing. She won the 2014 Wake County Public Library Teen Poetry Contest 11/12 Grade 1st Place winner for her poem titled “Propane.” She was also awarded the Hollins University Book Award for Academic Excellence in Writing. Alexandra was the lead Marimbist for the Heritage High School marching band. Her love of dresses was perfect for her senior session location of Duke Gardens, and she complimented them perfectly with the accessories that she selected. Best wishes at NC State, Alexandra!
