Megan and Reid can’t wait for their wedding in just nine more months! It will take place at the glorious Carolina Grove in Hillsborough, North Carolina. They have been dating for seven and a half years and initially met through a mutual friend. Megan and I discovered that we both have a Masters degree from the University of Virginia, and she works at NC State where my son is a freshman. Reid’s job as a construction coordinator for restaurants keeps him quite busy! I loved hearing about how Megan thwarted Reid’s first attempt at proposing. He arranged to give her twelve days of presents leading up to Christmas, that would end with her gorgeous vintage antique sapphire ring and a proposal. However, Megan had it all figured out and told Reid of her suspicion. Reid ended up getting her a different twelfth day present, and was able to truly surprise her with a proposal at a later time. How exciting to hear about how their wedding plans are taking shape! Their wonderful wedding planner, Gina Myers, from La Cosa Bella Events, was so kind to send this special couple my way for their engagement session!
